Frequently Asked Questions About City Tours in Salzburg

Exploring Salzburg on your own is certainly possible, and the city is easy to walk around. However, many visitors soon realise that while they see beautiful buildings and famous landmarks, the stories behind them often remain hidden.

A private Salzburg walking tour allows you to discover the city in a much deeper and more personal way.

With a certified licensed Salzburg tour guide you not only see the main sights of the Old Town, but also learn about the fascinating history of the city, the powerful Prince-Archbishops who shaped Salzburg for centuries and the life of Mozart, who was born here in 1756.

At the same time, a private tour offers great flexibility. The pace can be adapted to your interests, there is time for questions and we can also explore small alleyways, hidden courtyards and lesser-known corners of the historic centre.

For many guests this personal experience turns a simple walk through Salzburg into one of the highlights of their visit.
